Description
If you use chem lights in tactical or field settings you've probably experimented with a variety of ways to carry them. We think the best way is on keychain cables.
Keychain cables, when routed through the eye of the chem light will slice through the plastic when it's time to deploy the chem with a simple pull. This method works better than using 550 cord. Additionally, by preparing your chem bundles on keychain cables, you can simply clip them into one of our Utility Hooks or a D Ring on your kit, changing out your loadout based on mission requirements.
Chem Keepers come with 6" keychain cables and high strength, UV resistant EPDM rubber bands, sold in pairs, five packs, and 10 packs.
FAQ:
- Q: How many chem lights can I fit on a keychain cable?
- A: We recommend carrying up to 8 per keychain cable. You can fit more, but it gets a bit crowded.
- Q: Will the rubber band fit around 8 chem lights?
- A: Yes
- Q: How do I ensure the keychain cable doesn't come undone?
- A: Crank it tight and wrap a small piece of electrical tape over the connection. This second step is not required, but two is one...
- Q: Do these come with chem lights included?
- A: No, we do not currently offer chem lights for sale
It’s exactly what is advertised, holds your chems where you need them and makes it easy to rip and break. Reloading is a breeze . May end up getting the help lanyard belt loop to run the cable through to save the Molle fabric from excess wear and tear. All this coupled with a personalized note from the company means I’ll be back for more gear.
Holds everything together nicely. Very high quality
10/10 as usual from forge, works good fast shipping 👍
A keychain cable is something that everyone needs if they're running multiple chemlights.
The price makes these super affordable when purchasing for your unit/group as well.
Thanks, Quade! We agree!
As described for a great price.
Good stuff.
Easy to use and for those that have ever had to use 550 cord for your chem light bundles... Do yourself a favor and use this instead.
Very ingenious product, best way to organize chem lights for real world use. Would highly recommend buying several packs of these!
Super good and better than using a cable or what I’ve seen zip ties
Came in faster than expected well packaged good stuff
it does whats promised ..quick easy way to release chems
Awesome product
Shipping was fast, good quality, and I got a little note with my receipt in the box =)
Great item. Very handy for chem lights. Highly recommended
Love it
Perfect dimensions, makes life easier.
Huge fan
Pretty nice.
Very useful and fit on my kit.
solid price point. dependable and durable craftsmanship. would recommend to any who would hear me rave about them to acquire these
Works as described, fast shipping.
I saw these a while back and decided to give them a try. These are amazing, an absolute needed upgrade from the carabiner I was looping through the hooks. The bands also eliminate the shaking sound from the lights hitting eachother. Overall this is an amazing product and I WILL order again if I need more chem light storage
As described
Very quick and easily accessible great product
simple. solid build. five stars
Quality better than I anticipated, the keepers are just a wee bit shorter than I'd like but has no real impact on my ability to make good intended use of them. I also love that forge gave a sticker, they know what the people want
Best. Chem. System. I’ve. Ever. Used.
Yes. Yes yes.
Great job boys 👏
Fast shipping, very happy with my order
Outstanding product 👌🏾 made sure to actually put them on my FCPC so my girlfriend didn't think they were trash and throw then out again so now I'll actually get to use them LOL awesome they were delivered on black Friday too, I was not expecting that.
Item is just as described. Perfect! Thank you.
It’s okay but I thought I was also getting some glow sticks with it.
Thank you for your review and sorry that you thought that. We have edited our description to make it explicitly clear that these do not come with chem lights.
So much more durable and reusable than 550 paracord.
This item is a must
