For end users who wear a helo lanyard on their belt, the Helo Lanyard Hanger offers a simple, secure, and practical way to clip the lanyard in when not in an aircraft.
The Helo Lanyard Hanger works with any battle belt that has PALS/MOLLE. The elastic portion of the hanger securely holds the hook in place.
We prefer to place the Helo Lanyard Hanger at the 8 o'clock position (as worn) on the belt. This keeps a secured helo lanyard tucked under the belt and completely out of the way when on the move. This also positions the helo lanyard alongside the body where it can be used as a secondary means of rifle retention when climbing or working on patients.
When your helo lanyard is secured to the aircraft, the low profile of the Helo Lanyard Hanger doesn't present a snag hazard unlike looped 550 cord commonly used on belts.

Perfect for what I needed on my GBRS belt
Work as it’s described. We will see the test of time and wear goes for the elastic
Our original ones have continued to last with extensive use in pretty rough conditions. Of course elastic will wear out at some point, but we use Berry compliant, milspec elastic so it's going to last for quite a while. And, just like everything we make, the sewing is guaranteed for life.
Great addition if you need to carry a helo lanyard on your belt. Stays out of the way when not in use.
I used this helo lanyard for work for around 6 months and it did an excellent job at keeping my Yates PRL out of the way but still in arms reach. The retainer is of high quality and allows numerous mounting options on your belt line without sacrificing precious space.
I never got this product
I need to carry a HELO lanyard for work. I stumbled across this item while trying to find an attachment solution that would work better then clipping it over the whole belt. I reached out and Mike had one shipped out immediately. 3 days later I received it and installed it on my belt. I was shocked how effective it was yet so simple. I give it 5 stars because not only is it an effective solution but it also does not cost an arm and a leg.
These lanyard retainers are so simple, yet so versatile. I currently have three on my kit; One fits perfectly underneath my IFAK on my MOLLE belt at the small of my back for my helo lanyard; The second sits behind my holster for my NAR retractable pistol lanyard to clip into; and the third sits on my plate carrier for my rifle retainer to clip onto.
Perfect. I fits right under my IFAK on my MOLLE belt.
This is a small concept/ Idea but it works like a bomb and makes life on a battle belt so much more manageable.
I used to use a piece of paracord but this is a simple and effective way of retaining my helo lanyard.
