We originally created Retainers as a solution for keeping a headlamp in place on a plate carrier. What they've turned into is a simple, effective way to retain just about anything on your kit. 

Some of the common use cases we've seen include retaining:

  • Headlamps
  • Push To Talks (PTTs)
  • Flags
  • Chem Lights
  • Torniquets 
  • Antennas

Retainers are threaded through a MOLLE/PALS row and then the ends are looped over anything you want to secure. 

The shock cord in Retainers is a continuous loop meaning the sides are adjustable to fit around any object. We've also constructed the Retainer body from Squadron® laminate, which is extremely durable and will not wear out from extended use.

    Great for holding headlamps or CAT TQs

    I recently purchased 2 of these to hold CAT TQs on the side of my placard. The bungee cord provides great retention and the retention is strong enough to hold whatever you need whilst still allowing you to use the items if need be.

    Perfect for hunting too

    I was able to use the Retainer for this past hunting season by attaching it to my bino harness and/or pack strap. This worked especially well when it was foggy or snowing, since if I wore it as a headlamp the light would reflect off the snow/fog, and it would be harder to see.

    Simple but efficient and effective. Keeps it simple in the best way. The retainers work with ptt’s and antennas or hydration hose retention. This is an easy quality of life boost.
